How do I PM?

I feel like an idiot. Trying to PM on Bag Swap and can't figure it out. Do not want to ask the IT guy and see his smug look while he explains. Please help.

Click on their user name - it should bring up a little menu that has private message as an option. :-)

I noticed you don’t have pm setup. Are you new or something? I couldn’t PM you anyway.

Basically, there’s rules at the beginning of a new member’s registration that are designed to cut down on spamming. That’s why you didn’t see the PM option. We’ve gone ahead and updated your account so you can send PMs, though!

Hi, moderators -- is there a step I can take to get PMs enabled? Just tried to reply to someone's Bag Swap post and didn't see any other options than adding them as a friend. If there's something I can do to adjust this setting myself, I'm happy to do so. Thanks!

When I click on your forum name there is a drop down menu with “Private Message”, click that option and you can type a message.

Yep -- I have that option now, but I didn't have the option until a moderator enabled it.
