As a life long allergy sufferer I finally got fed up and turned to alternative medicine a few years ago. When I am having bad allergies using my neti pot helps some with symptoms. I have also done a lot of probiotic immune building and acupuncture which has helped immeasurably in the long term, so I now rarely need to take allergy medicine. These changes have helped me a lot, but it was a long term process rather than a quick fix.

Mrs. Nuke and I got a reprieve today for a few hours when we drove over to Sandy Hook, NJ to breathe the salty, foggy air. It was wonderful.
It was cold and foggy on the ocean side, but over on Sandy Hook Bay it was much warmer and clear. This is Officer's Row on what was Ft. Hancock:
And our last stop was in Atlantic Highlands at the marina to check out the boats.
Sadly, by the time we got home, it was back to stuffy, itchy, sneezy hell.
Thank you!

I feel your pain.
I have been taking homeopathic remedies (BioAllers Tree Pollen), which seemed to lessen some of the symptoms for a few weeks, but today my allergies have been especially bad. Admittedly, I haven't been taking the remedies regularly, which probably defeats the purpose, but the fact that so many people around me are suffering from allergies makes me think that it's a particularly pollenacious situation now.
