    Greetings,
I've snagged my silk scarf on a zipper so I'd recommend the stuff sack option. The Travel Tray and the Mini Travel Tray work great for this, too. elisa

Good point! My travel tray is in my "Always Pack" list, and the scarves fit perfectly.

Adding to @Lia's answer, I've been very happy with LL Bean linen. It has a nice hand, it's structure falls between the brands Lia mentioned, and it's very durable. I got some ugly road rash through it, but the fabric is unscathed. You'd never know it'd been violently rubbed across the pavement.

When it came time to pack for real, I couldn't bring myself to bring extra, "just in case" things. I ended up only with three pairs of shoes, like always. I only packed one thing I didn't wear at all, and most of it I wore multiple times, per my usual habit.

Turns out, minimal packing is just better for me.

    Greetings,
Can I ask what swayed your decision? I'm always trying to improve my packing process and I really appreciate this kind of discussion. Thank you! elisa

I just looked at my stuff and felt, nope, I don't need that. It wasn't rational. I'd love to have a list of reasons and procedures, but it was my gut and not my brain that knew what to pack.
