I gave up body lotions and face moisturizers years ago. Now the only thing I use full body, including face, is a shea butter / coconut oil combo, sometimes with the addition of cocoa butter, mixed with my favorite essential oils for a light scent.
Coconut oil starts to liquify at 76 degrees F (24C). Shea butter had a melting point of 90 F and cocoa butter is about 95F. Soooo, mixing the shea or cocoa butters with coconut helps prevent the liquification. There are a lot of great (and easy) DIY recipes (Fyi...cocoa butter is a strong smell so must add a little unless you love the smell). When I buy, my go-to is Lux Naturals.
Like @Sturbridge, I scope the mixture into a smaller container for travel.
