Makers Bag: Initial impressions and packing list.

The first pack is the heaviest...

First day with the Makers Bag. Here's what I packed in it for work:

    Main Compartment:
-14" Dell Latitude E5440 (work laptop.)
-11" Acer C720 Chromebook (my laptop.)
    -Roost laptop stand.
    -Bluetooth headphones.
    -Staples Arc 8x5 notebook.
-Mini Sidka organizer pouch with Bandaids (Thank you Tom, Darcy and Crew!)
-Keys and work badge on a keystrap.
-Medium Solar organization pouch with Work laptop charger, cable and HDMI cable.
-iPhone 6+ (work) and iPhone 6 (personal.)
    -Anker 20000 ma battery/charger.
-16 oz Lifefactory water bottle (empty.)

    Zippered section of main compartment:
-A ledger I am using for tracking my expenses (restarted suspiciously after I finished my second TB order in a week.)

    Front zippered section:
-Clear mini organizer pouch with MicroUSB, MiniUSB and Lightning cables.
-Small solar organizer pouch with a travel router and iPhone headphones.
    -Wallet.
-Pencil, two pens and pocket knife.

    Initial impressions:
I like the bag a lot. I'm glad I got the Burnt Orange color as it is very unique. The standard strap has been made a little bit more "heavy duty" compared to standard strap I received with my Cadet (circa 3-4 years ago?) I think I may end up swapping it for my other standard strap, at is lies a bit flatter. I'll post some more thoughts about the bag later.

Picture of it packed (can't really see anything:)

I absolutely love the color combination, and it looks like it's the perfect size for you.

The suspicious ledger restart hit too close to home for my liking.

Wow! You really got a lot of stuff in there! I am loving my new MB too, but left it back home so I can't use it right now. I almost packed it to bring to CA when I returned home for a week to show my face at work, but I didn't think I needed another bag here. And then last night I packed up my Nordic WF for my partner for her upcoming 3 night work trip and she needs to use my DLBC (which is my current mobile office) as well.

I have the same exact color combination of the Maker's Bag. I really like it too!

I was set on getting the Verde color for this bag, but then at the last minute I decided on ordering the Burnt Orange MB along with the Verde MB, "knowing" I'd be sending back the Burnt Orange one. Well, I kept the burnt orange one and have never looked back since. I like the NWS interior as it is much lighter to be able to decipher things in the bag versus having a steel interior.

It is quite nice. It works well for getting my personal laptop up to a good high when I'm working on my standing work desk. I got mine in February unfortunately as I was a list minute backer.
