    Put them in ziplock bags first, if the cans freeze and burst you'll be protected against spills.

    I live on the gulf coast, my "emergency " kit is beach chair, umbrella, swim noodle, doggy bowl, doggy life jacket and doggy travel bed and a poncho. Lol, probably should put real life "helpful " things in the trunk, but those are the things I actually use!
