    Thanks, @Bogiesan! I'm familiar with the rule of thirds for photo subjects, but I don't apply it to bag photos since I think of it as an artistic guideline and I generally take bag photos to convey information. Do you think of it as a more general rule of thumb? Or is there some other reason not to put the subject in the center?
    I have a bunch of great bags. Favorite color combos include Aubergine/Island, Navy/Solar, Forest/UV, Original Halcyon/Wasabi, Cloud/Viridian.

    I've fulfilled my dream of palindromic-colored nested bags! Navy/Ultraviolet Pilot with Aubergine/Island Side Effect inside: blue purple purple blue. Forest/UV A45 with Aubergine/Wasabi Co-Pilot inside: green purple purple green.

    I find this thread very helpful for the tips and tricks. I just owned EOS 60D and still learning how to take a good picture. I usually use my iPhone.
