Have you considered the Guide's Pack? While there are some differences in the design, it is for a great part functionally the same as the Shadow Guide if you choose to not attach any external pockets.

I actually have a Guide's Pack. It's a little too "loud" for the office environment. The all black look would have been more appropriate for business travel and trips to the office. :)

You could sign up to be notified if/when they do another run. Also keep an eye on eBay and the Facebook group, a Shadow Guide popped up briefly for sale a few days ago. Rare but it does happen.
