    Smile Packing Cube Backpack (Aeronaut)

I have been using Tom Bihn products since I purchased a gym bag from him at the Santa Cruz store many years ago. I still have that bag and use it every day. I have continued buying his products over the years. They have all been great. This new Packing Cube Backpack is no exception.

I bought the Packing Cube Backpack because I wanted to have a day pack on a recent trip to Japan but didn't want to deal with an extra piece of luggage at the airport. It worked fine as a packing cube and even better as a day pack.

To tell the truth, I thought it looked flimsy and was convinced I had ruined it one day when I overloaded it with heavy museum catalogs. I thought for sure I the threads would have separated from the bag, but I was wrong. The bag was still in perfect condition. It also rained almost every day of the trip, but nothing got wet.

Anyway, another fine product. It's more than ingenious; it's durable and keeps the water out.
