    @Cristina,

I think that @aedifica's FJN is Conifer(= the Cordura equivalent of Forest in its original Ballistic Nylon tones). Sigh… I ordered a Conifer FJN in the original FJN release, when I wanted to see this new color, and was ordering a few to use as presents. They sent me Olive, and I didn't have the heart to complain. (This was also back when I didn't think UPS returns worked from Hawaii). So I never actually got an FJN in Conifer. @aedifica, good luck, and is the Ristretto Nebulous Grey/Island?

I think you're right about it being Conifer. I'm sorry you didn't get a Conifer one when you ordered it! Olive is nice too, but it's just not the same.

Thanks for the good luck wish! The Ristretto is actually Navy/Solar. (Though my phone keyboard first tried to put Navy/Doomsday because I wasn't close enough to the right letters, then it tried Navy/Sailor. At least that one makes sense.)

Speaking of Nebulous Grey/Island, though, I've been using my Nebulous/Island L15 the last couple of days. The Ristretto worked great for the things I needed to carry on my first day, the Luminary is working better for the things I've carried since then. Next week when classes start I'll probably switch to yet a larger bag, maybe my Nebulous/Island Synik 22!
    I have a bunch of great bags. Favorite color combos include Aubergine/Island, Navy/Solar, Forest/UV, Original Halcyon/Wasabi, Cloud/Viridian.

I've fulfilled my dream of palindromic-colored nested bags! Navy/Ultraviolet Pilot with Aubergine/Island Side Effect inside: blue purple purple blue. Forest/UV A45 with Aubergine/Wasabi Co-Pilot inside: green purple purple green.

MCB on my way to work on a Saturday morning. It's way too early and the train times differ slightly on the weekend, and I forgot. So what do you do when you have to wait twenty minutes for the next train and there's no one around?

Thought I would show my new Aubergine Pop Tote in its role as personal item when I travelled to Philadelphia for my brother's wedding. I especially liked that I could just stuff things in (food, sweater, scarf) without worrying. I clipped my own personal small pocket to one of the inner o-rings.

I'm very pleased to say I now have no more plane travel scheduled and I think I can now avoid taking a plane for at least a year.

I recently downsized to a one bedroom apartment... I use moving as a time to purge stuff and also to rethink/rearrange things
This move resulted in several of my Travel Trays providing organization for small stuff in two drawers of a small antique side board I have from my great grandmother - I like the mix of old and modern. There are also some Cubelets and Stuff Sacks. These are all either small random thingys or travel related stuff.
Oh, and the Small Snake Charmer holds my work laptop charger & mouse for when I travel

Weekend trip - both the RB36 and the MCB are underpacked and quite lightweight. I thought about using my DLBP instead of the RB36, but I prefer the duffel for clothes and stuff, even if it's too big.

Aubergine and Steel is really a lovely color combination...

Stopped by Trader Joe's on the way home from work for three things, so brought in only one SSB... but the new autumn items are in and I saw some other random things I haven't tried before, so it turned into a experimental (and mostly vegetarian) shopping visit... and I carefully Tetris'd it all into one SSB:

3 different bags of alt pastas
    1 bag of yeast
    4 cans of beans
1 can of the eggplant/tomato blend (yummy on pasta or rice, btw)
    3 frozen cartons & 1 frozen veg
    2 bananas
    4 cartons/cans of smoked oysters
    2 bell peppers
    and 1 bottle of tawny

This is one of the reasons why the original Small Shop Bags are my favorite TB item... small but mighty holders of random things!

I like them... they're smoked and packed in olive oil... I tend to just stand at the sink and eat them with a toothpick right out of the can when I want a hit of fat/protein/umami, especially after weight lifting. It's 150cal for the whole can.
Some folks don't like fishy/oily/smokey, but they hit the spot for me.

ETA - I eat them carefully over the sink because I'm a klutz and I do not want to spill smokey fishy oil everywhere :)

Such a good haul! The lentil pasta is wonderful — it’s quickly become one of my favorites. As for the black bean pasta, I don’t think I ever got the cooking time right. I’ve tried it a few times, but it always seemed to go from undercooked straight to quite glommy and gloopy. If you discover the secret, I’d love to know!

    Happy eating!

I would have (or just hand carried the port) but I knew I was soooooo close!
It's a basically a game to me to try to fit it all in and it worked... and nothing fell out on the drive home or up three flights of stairs...which is where those poron handles really shine

My LSB held a pretty opposite load from @G42’s - 20 boxes of mac and cheese (my daughter’s dinner most nights, on sale this week) with room to spare!

I've been wanting to get into oysters because they're so healthy. These look great because they are packed in olive oil so probably more tasty than the cottonseed oil. Eating over the sink is totally the right way to do it I think. I usually share my gross extra sardine oil with my cats and they are super happy to help :)
