Received my MCB (black & cloud) with my Nik's minimalist wallet #4, island zipper pulls and suede shoulder strap. This will be my new EDC bag (replacing my LCB) so more photos to come!

Yesterday afternoon while I was walking around work with my new Wilderness S19 on my back, my co-workers said it looked like a turtle shell. That gave me an idea. Fortunately I have a varied supply of paracord. With a few viewings of some Youtube videos I was able to make some ninja turtle zipper pulls.


I made a ninja zipper pull for each zipper but that was too much so I made simple pulls for 4 of the zippers and used only 2 green ninjas turtles and one grey ninja turtle. It was fun! And I needed fun because I witnessed violence on the subway this morning.

I don’t normally use an edc too often, nor ever carry a bag around at work, but we’re knee deep in IEP season and every spare moment I can grab to write I do.

My Ursa Monster Truck arrived today!




Paddock boots fit great in the middle compartment, helmet in the side, half chaps swimming around on the other side.


This doesn't show the size difference very well, maybe because the Truck was closer to the camera than the Monster. The difference is bigger.

I guess it wasn’t quite so popular and they needed capacity for other designs. I remember that when the Road Buddy debuted it took a bit for some of the colors to sell out, unlike with other debuts. And it was never talked about as much here on the forums, in reviews and social media in comparison to other bags. Which is a shame. It’s an awesome travel bag if you don’t need backpack straps as a feature. I definitely love mine!

Thanks. I think there is a place for a duffel style travel bag with some organization / side pockets and TB would seem to be the folks that can figure that out, but they know their sales numbers so I understand why they decided to let it go.

I don't usually carry wipes in my edc, so I had to come up with a way to incorporate them into my system so I can do a small part to prevent a zombie apocalypse.

So, FTR, eight individually packaged wipes fit in a mini OP with no wasted space. When I tried nine, it wouldn't quite zip.

They would also work in my mini gwop, but I'm already using it for charging cables. The small gwop and op fit more, but with extra unuseable space flapping around.
