Hey, @Snareman. I really enjoyed your video! Thanks for sharing it with us. As @threeteez mentioned, the white background without distractions was great. Something else I enjoyed was the jargon-free element to it; you seemed to know your bag very well but you weren't using all the lingo people use on the forums (I use it too!). So the video had a laid-back but serious tone to it. You didn't talk about "o-rings" or that type of thing. I guess I just liked that because it reminded me how everyone can appreciate these bags, even if they are just appreciating them on a day-to-day level for 15 years or so and aren't looped into all the Halcyon/Dyneema stuff or the pouches and all that.

I mean, I LOVE talking Tom Bihn shop. LOVE IT. But it was refreshing to just watch the video for your review, straight-up, jargon-free.

    Thanks!

My guess would be early 2007 -- especially if the material is Ballistic Nylon instead of Cordura, since up until about the start of 2007, none of the Ballistic Nylon Imagos used that "swoosh" shape for the front panel. Instead, the design was called "Yang" and looked like this:

Your ID Bag is also the redesigned version offered in 2007 or 2008.

Imago and ID! Yes, thanks! It's all slowly coming back to me now.

Nicely done video too. Informative and I like that the background is blank/free of distractions (other than that Imago on the floor) :)
I apologize for the bag only going onto the floor in front of my ironing board and not out into your hands. I'll have to work on that for my upcoming vids. :)

Thanks! One of my goals when I started making vids (almost 300 now) was to have well lit vids with clean backgrounds and relatively concise quality info on the bags. Some companies (Osprey is notorious for this in my mind) put out vids with very little info on their bags so I do my best to show all the facets of the bag. I did forget to mention the 2 loops in the main compartment where you can attach a sleeve. I think I mentioned that in one of the takes that ended up on the cutting room floor with the Imago. :) I guess I need to hang around the forums here a little more (see my post count of like 3 now?) to have some of the lingo rub off on me. :)

Thanks TravelManager for the video. I recently purchased a western flyer and haven't used it yet, and after watching your video I'm even more happy that I own one now. Very versatile.

Nice video! So much stuff in that little bag!
I can't seem to navigate to the original on my iPhone. Is there a YouTube or Vimeo link?

Ahh! Your original videos covering the A45 and the S25 were what got me to buy my first Bihn Bags (A45 and S25 as well)! I always look forward to seeing a new youtube video from you.

Great video. I also use my WF Navy Ballistic in these 3 modes. I love the tip on having the 13 inch laptop in the vertical cache in the backpack strap area.

One small difference I have is that I use a Medium Cafe Bag Freudian Slip rather than the full size one and I place it in one of the two half front sections along with my A5 notebook and iPad.

It really is the most versatile bag I own.

I have seen a lot of Maker's Bag vs? postings recently with members asking for some guidance on what to get. Here is a quick comparison of the Pilot and Maker's Bag.
