    Coyote color in person...

Hi all! New to the forums and to the strangely addictive phenomenon that is TB! So I purchased a coyote key strap and mini Q-kit to use in another vender bag and am completely enamored by the color. It looks different in person and I like it. So my question is this, is the coyote in the key strap and q-kit the same exact color/material that is used in the same version of the DLBP and Synapse? Thx for any help you can provide!

I'm no expert here so I'll be corrected, but the Q kit is ballistic and the Synapses and DLBPs are Cordura (or Halcyon). the ballistic will have a "sheen" to it while the Cordura won't. I've only seen coyote in ballistic.

The DLBP and Synapses use coyote cordura. The colour of coyote cordura is quite different-- more the colour of damp sand than the brown sugar colour of coyote ballistic.

Yikes! I totally missed that. It's clear as day on the materials on both items. Ok so, then does it stand to reason that the coyote color/material of the Q-kit will then match that of the like-kind SA?

I would assume so. Q kits and other tiny pouches are made with scraps from larger bags. so the coyote Q kit might well come from leftover ballistic from a coyote SA!
