Pilot vs Stowaway
Hi!
I have a Pilot that served me very well on a recent trip to humid SE Asia. I got it in nylon to ease the weight and yes my back was not dripping with sweat, which occurs when I use the DLBP or the packing cube backpack (I really love this one!). I have been looking at the Stowaway which is smaller in cubic litres but seems to have a more functional design than the Pilot. Any opinions are appreciated!

I have the same question as you! Did you get any answers regarding this? I recently was able to go to the store and was entranced by the Stowaway. I liked all the organization however I am not sure if I would miss the space. I guess it would depend on what else I was trying to pack in there! I normally use my Synapse 25 to put all of my electronics in which has increased since I seem to be carrying my son's stuff as well! I am not sold on the backpack feature however I feel that I could potentially use that section as an extra packing section!

I love the concept of the stowaway, but looking at the dimensions, it's not going to be tall enough to fit my work laptop.

For Apple users, the Stowaway does not fit a MacBook Air 13" but it will fit the new MacBook Pro 13". The Air is slightly too large with a cache. Thanks Kat for the checking!

I don't use my stowaway with a cache. It's not necessary. The laptop compartment is in a separate compartment in the middle of the bag so it's buffered on both sides by the bag itself !
I love this bag!
