1050 Fabric - is it abrasive to clothing while carrying?

    Hello All

Just curious; does anyone have issues with the 1050 fabric and any abrasion to clothing?

Not naming names but I had a big clunky 1000 cordura rucksack that I couldn't carry while wearing a blazer to the abrasive fabric.

Does TB's 1050D have the same issue? I'm looking at the Road Buddy and worried that the fabric rubbing against jeans will wear a spot, that sort of thing.

Maybe a crazy question but I've only ever owned halcyon and 525 bags.

Not a crazy question! 1050D Ballistic fabric is smooth. You won't have any issues like with Cordura.

Rocks is correct! I have 1050d Ballistic on my Smart Alec - it is quite smooth and doesn't pick up fibers. From the product description: "You want a smooth surface that won’t collect pet hair or sweater fuzz, slides easily into and out of the overhead bin, and fits in whether you're traveling for work or leisure."

Ballistic nylon in all three weights is smooth and slippery. So is Halcyon fabric. I've never had a problem with any of the ballistic or Halcyon TB bags.

I don't like Cordura. It's too rough and grabby.

Thanks all. To be clear does it also resist pet hair? My fiancee's parents have two dogs that shed a ton. Our clothes always come home covered in fur. I'd hate for my bags to have the same issue... the Halcyon fabric is great at resisting all that.

The ballistics are good at resisting pet hair, human hair, and fuzz...like night & day vs cordura.
I like all the blues and greys...and all the happy citrus colours too! My search unicorn is the Sapphire Dyneema original Small Shop Bag...
