    Washing Icon and CB

Can someone please remind or link me to best practices for washing up these bags? Imagine spotting is fine but sometimes a thorough cleaning is needed. Can they be gently dunked and air dried?

Hi @celtical, you find the necessary information in the FAQs (Cleaning, Repair and Returns) as well as in this thread. My personal experience is echoing that: soaking the bag for half an hour in a bathtub with warm water and a little soap works great. Looks like new afterwards.

Hi Celtical The FAQ's are great but when I got my first bags and needed washing instructions I wanted a little more detail. I was just going to find some soap (not Dawn or Palmolive) and try that.

So I asked Darcy what brands they liked. She mentioned Seventh Generation and Ecover. I've used Ecover Lemon and Aloe Vera ever since. I wash in lukewarm water, spot cleaning with a little Ecover as necessary, and let them soak for about 15-30 minutes. I rinse thoroughly with ice cold water, apply my Nikwax (when wet always) and let it air dry.

I don't think Ecover makes Lemon and Aloe Vera anymore so when I run out I'll see if they have anything comparable. If no I'll try Seventh Generation

    Good luck!
