How to thread the Icon strap?

Got my Icon in today and while adjusting the strap, I went to far and it came completely out of the buckle on the one side.



I can thread it back through, but then the excess is just kind of dangling there.



I was wondering if that was the intended purpose, or am I just doing it wrong.

Other than that, the bag looks fantastic, and I'm really liking the 630d Recycled fabric. It seems to have more of a sheen, but this is also my first Nebulous Grey bag as well, so I could be wrong on that.

snug the end of the strap up to the bag, just below the buckle area. You feed the end of the strap into the open space near the seam of the bag... the excess strap feeds into that space/hole and is hidden from view.
