PCSB - was it ever made in 525 Ballistic?

    I am wondering.

I am guessing that the stiffer 525 ballistic fabric would add structure to the beloved PCSB.

I am also still hoping for a PCSB v2 with inside pockets similar to the Side Kick’s/Side Effect’s. Keep the slanted front zippered pocket as is.

Nope, sorry. It really was designed to be both a packaging cube and a bag, so the stiffer/thicker materials haven't been used.
I like all the blues and greys...and all the happy citrus colours too! My search unicorn is the Sapphire Dyneema original Small Shop Bag...

    Thanks, G42.

I understand that the PCSB’s concept is “a packing cube that can be used as a shoulder bag.”

A woman can dream that the Tom Bihn crew does a test run of PCSBs made in the 525 Ballistic Smilie. I think they will sell out!

I wouldn't mind if the PCSB ended up getting a "fleshed out" version the way the PCBP became the Daylight Backpack. It's just the right size.

I think it would be like @carrot implies - a new item that has some PCSB heritage but fits a non-packaging cube need/aspect ratio
You can put your ideas into the wish list thread Smilie

Add second slim, large compartment to hold a Tablet/Laptop like a Surface or 8.5z11 papers. My old Surface 3 fits in the PCSB nicely except accessing it as I needed to have it against an outer side so other things had to be moved to access it. Add a slim zippered pocket for a tablet or papers and internal pockets like Side Kick and it will advance to the next level. I A smaller, more minimalist DLBC in a size that fits several other bags nicely.
