When out for the day I add an ipad mini in a apple smart case and an 18 oz Kleen Kanteen or 12 oz mug.

Occasionally I cram in a sock knitting project in a med. yarn stuff sack although that requires the full clip strap extension and I usually just leave the stuff sack hanging off the outside.

Wish there was an o-ring in the back open pocket. It is where I tend to drop my keys and pulling a keystrap around from the body of the bag just looks odd. I guess technically so does hanging a stuff sack off the outside. Smilie

ETA: I probably should have gotten a medium but it just felt too big with only my basic carry in it.
I also wish for that back pocket o-ring cos my keys like that pocket.

Ditto. As a less-than-elegant fix, I attached a carabiner to the grab handle on the top of the bag for my keys. I thought about adding a key strap to the carabiner (so the keys would slide all the way in to the pocket), but decided I was ok with the setup as is.

I use a long key strap through that loop and clipped around itself and then the other end clipped to the keys. Again, inelegant but functional. Actually the key strap pretty much lives on my keys permanently now instead of a keychain. I can use it as a wrist strap on a walk and/or clip it to my wallet.

The iPad mini fits in the Dyneema SE; but from what I've read it won't fit in the ballistic/parapack SE.
