I tend to use either my A30 or my A45 for packing clothes. But I really love my WF for the size, and will often take it for a shorter trip. Plus, the size gives it another advantage: once on-site, I...
«*Blackbird*» by Sharon Shannon. I dare you not to be happy!
Love Darcy’s answer!
Lately I have been giving family very slightly extravagant versions of useful, mundane items. Last year it was very fine wool socks in bright colors, this year it was merino...
As others have said, it depends on how you pack.
I have traveled with the A30 for a week in winter with surprising ease. I own both the A45 and A30, and find the A30 more pleasing in its...
A limited re-edition (Design Lab Edition?) of the Imago!
And health, safety and happiness to all!
I can't get Peet's coffee here, but I did have an odd piece of fairly stiff copper wire that I probably picked up off the street somewhere. I use it now in place of the original "twist ties". I...
Yes, it is comfortable, or comfortable enough to use. remember that one uses very little force when one drags the blade through the slot. It helps to sit the sharpener on a table to hold it steady.
This is the latest one I bought, I have a couple:...
Love this pack, but so wish it had a snow collar and some kind of attachment points on the sides.
I usually carry a small sharpener in my travel toolkit. They are very light. But thanks for the mug-bottom tip!
I don't really have a travel kitchen, but I do have a ziplock bag with a few tea bags (black and mint), a couple of packages of instant oatmeal, and some coffee filters. I keep it packed together...
Regret: No regrets, but there are bags I just don't use anymore, like my Empire Builder--since I don't go into an office anymore. (Trust me, this is actually a win)
Took Awhile: Western Flyer. It...
I love my large masks. I agree, they are the most comfortable ones I have, and because of the nosepiece, I have the least problems with my glasses fogging. (When mask use was pushed here at ehe end...
I often carry a 10.5" iPad Pro in my small Cafe Bag. My iPad wears an OtterBox case, so it is a bit bigger than just the naked iPad. The iPad sticks out of the bag a little bit, but the flap closes...
I don‘t own a car anymore, and do all my shopping on foot. I also live on the 5th floor (US, fourth floor here). I love my Tom Binh grocery bags, but for the heavy stuff, I always use a backpack. If...
Given that we are all under increasing stress, how about a thread posting favorite music, either to calm us down or pump us up?
My favorite calming music is anything by Anouar Brahem. If you want...
You probably already know, but as of March 17, the EU has pretty much shut its borders to foreign entry. I doubt this will be lifted in time for your trip, and unfortunately, even if you could make...
Tom and crew, you are great. Thanks to Frank II for posting this for those of us who have dumped Facebook.
Sorry I can’t answer your questions directly, but let me suggest you consider the Daylight Briefcase as well. It is completely soft-sided and without padding, but is extremely flexible.
Walking, cooking, reading, all good. Too old for martial arts, but taking the stairs helps.
One thing I haven‘t seen yet on the thread is recordings of nature sounds. When I was working (shout out...
I am in awe of the care you take and the humanity you show.
Be well, and thanks.
I use an Otter Box case for my iPad. It has a built in stand which will do what you want well. As an added bonus, it protects the device very well, so that I don’t use any other kind of case.
A Maker's Bag with an open pocket along the exterior back, and a cinchable buckle on the front.

Always carry my SCB when out and about. Use an LSB and an SSB when shopping, particularly at the Market Saturdays....
