Speaking for myself, I'd love to see a blog on the development process for Trinity!
Still a one-bag subscriber, so my trusty WF is commuting to local coffee shops and weekend staycations rather than into the office or cross country jaunts.
Most of my travel-specific clothing had...
I am appreciating the Florida "winter weather" enabling me to burn off unused vacation sailing my Kayak around the St. Johns river!
One thing from my travelling life I've been able to apply to my quarantine life is packing small; while my co-workers lugged monitor arms and printers home when the office closed, I had learned to...
If you mean the main compartment on the front, yes. But a 12D can be a very tight fit; I can fit some relatively pointy toed oxfords, but they protrude enough to require the pocket to be packed...
Just as a followup, I did use the Sealskinz on my trip, and I was happy with them! Definitely better than hauling waterproof shoes around for 2 weeks. I just carried them in my backpack and put...
I've had more luck getting it under the seat than in the overheads on the regional cigars. I've found the under seat is the one place that, short of AV boxes, doesn't change much from plane to plane.
I doubt very much that infected carry on bags are the prime vectors for long-haul sardine cans full of recirculated air. Particularly if you're handling your own carry on luggage.
Unfortunately our chance at Hamilton live was cancelled, thanks for the link.
I've been streaming Tycho and Lindsey Stirling while working. Not relaxing enough to put me to sleep, not amped-up enough to drive me batty.
A homemade mask like that won't protect you, but it is certainly useful to protect others. To that effect, everyone wearing masks of any type would be a good thing, especially considering the...
I would imagine that is the problem, though I've never tried A30 packing cubes. The WF cubes completely fill the compartment, and even have to be stuffed in a bit.
On request from a family...
I wouldn't think the TS or WF would be good for carrying things like hairdryers. If you like the Synik, why not spring for the 30 version?

By wall adapter I'm referring to the AC adapter/power brick. All of those are dual-voltage these days.

Binder clips will work in a pinch, and you should always have a few of these around.

I like the multi-purposeness of binder clips
Not strictly true. With enough sanitizer and scrub time, it will kill virtually everything. The effectiveness of hand sanitizer is variable, reduced by surface dirt and oils (i.e. less effective...
Yeah, just go with the Rick Steves one, and her own chargers will work fine. No need for anything fancy these days, I haven't seen a single-voltage wall adapter in decades.
Almost 6 years now of daily EDC, and every trip I have taken in the interim (I'm going to estimate about 300 flight legs, and around 250k miles), both business and personal, from 1 night to 16-day...
All that planning effort, and it sounds like you'll be yoked to a bunch of checked-baggage amateurs in the end...c'est la vie. At least it's fun to see their faces when they realize how much ****...
In most cases, I just planned to do more sightseeing in those times where I had to have my stuff with me, or just slogged it out and hoped for the best. 6'-3" with a fully-loaded Western Flyer...
Correct, the masks often seen being worn in airports aren't effective protection for the wearer, you'd need something with a seal and rated filter element.
With the laptop bag in the middle pocket, it's going to hinge on the flatness of the shoes. When I started travelling weekly, I bought sneakers just for travel, whith mesh tops that I could crush...
