Yes! The pipe-cleaner or wire goes across the bridge of the nose. When you sew the nose piece on, there will be an opening at either end that you can slide something into. Helps to form a better...
TB just dropped their vid walkthrough too. I like his nose pocket application better than mine.

xyppy - I just learned about t-shirt yarn myself and I'm obsessed.
kjquilts - Of course! Definitely give it a try! I'm sure your neighbors will love the masks :)

Wanted to drop this here too! Quick video walkthrough on the Tom Bihn mask pattern with some thoughts on ear loops and nose pocket. Tom also just put out an official video that's pretty great.

He promptly shook it off and went for a snack :)
Hello!
Love that Tom Bihn released their own mask pattern. Making a bunch to donate, so thought I'd put together a quick video walkthrough with some ideas around assembly ear loops, and the nose...
If you had to list my material preference in order, it would go:
- Halcyon
- Nylon
- Cordura
I love the lightweight, pet hair resistant nature of the Halcyon. It's slick, sharp looking and...
Thank you everyone for the responses! Island seems to be the favorite by a significant margin and I think it's grown on me throughout the day. Iberian is definitely a little more toned down and...
So I'm adding a new bag to my arsenal and I can't decide between Iberian and Island and I need your help! I have both in front of me...thoughts?

Packing up my bags in Scotland today, I discovered a new way to free up even more valuable space in my A30. I travel with a gorilla pod (it's endlessly useful) and was able to slide it into the carry...
It's an old "indian rope trick" converted into a street bit...so it's not so much an optical illusion as it is a magic trick ;)
So I've gone from:
Iceland -> Farnham -> London -> Ireland
And now I'm headed to Scotland. So far the bags haven't let me down. Here's a highlight pic from each place:
Waiting right now to...

@vkigus - I rolled it and slid it under the side carrying handle. I used an additional buckle strap for extra security. I'll try to get a pic for you!

I've had some test runs, but on March 20th...I officially left the USA for 12 months only carrying an Aeronaut 30 (DLBP attached) and a pilot. I'm currently driving the circumference of Iceland on...
I wasn't sure what to think about the Aubergine/Wasabi contrast when I saw it in photos....but I'm so glad I took a chance on it. The colors play beautifully off each other and I couldn't be happier...
Thanks for all the <3 everyone!
@moriond wow, great pics! Thanks for linking that. I dig the Aubergine Aeronaut!
@JohnDel definitely let us know how the SA shakes out for you!
Thanks tpnl!
I just arrived in Florida, but I've been traveling overseas. I have a 1 way ticket to Iceland on March 20 and so that is indeed a sleeping bag strapped to the top on my Aeronaut 30....
I recently made my way back to the states for a family event and decided to get rid of my camera shoulder bag for a pilot while I'm in town. I love purple, but was worried the Aubergine would be too...
@bradnd99 - thank you so much for subscribing! Every sub helps a ton with sponsors. It's all about planning and figuring out what works best for your own situation. There's some good advice online...
Thank you! It's been a crazy adventure so far. Will post again once I get the packing video together!
So I've made an insane life decision. I've quite my job, sold everything I could (gave away the rest), and now I am traveling the world for 12 months...maybe more...we'll see. All my worldly...
