Yes: I have had the same issue with my 525 Side Kick for example which does not get rough used at all. But after just two trips overseas, they do look a lot more scuffed than my 10 year old Synapse...
@tonya: I would agree with you. I got a new SideKick in the 525 Ballistic; and with some use it is showing far more scuffs, and looking a bit beat down already (2 years). I have not had that happen...
thank you all..was just trying to figure out how you did the little loop!
can you demonstrate how you did this? I did try, but could not figure out how you did the "across" piece..
Every book of hers is a treat. Read them all!
I must have missed this. I have been a long time TB person, and losing 1050 Ballistic for the larger bags is a challenge: esp for Aeronauts, Western Flyer, etc., I have had to check the Aeronaut a...
a quick question: are these TB pulls? I can't seem to get my pulls this small and tight? do you double them in some way? I like the look of this better than the ones that are longer!
please take care and stay safe in the storm.....
I am really surprised you find it hard to carry. That is not a lot of weight. I usually have a laptop, kindle, and other items in there. The Co-Pilot is tiny, and it is really good as an underseat...
Check out : Waterfield bags, SF
Levenger has some leather ones that have the kinds of straps and elastics that you are looking for.
hello:
I have the half size cubelet and that works great for the MacBook Air charger; cord; and the small dongle that I have. I can also put in other cords--like the Kindle charging cord in there....
I have the Co-Pilot, and it is a bag that I both absolutely appreciate, and somehow don't quite love! It is perhaps the shape: the odd suitcasey look. Perhaps it is too many zippers. But it works...
hello Jaffa: I am from India. Cochin is quite safe, esp if you are at a Yoga retreat. And so should Goa. I am from the south of India, so know more about that. Clothes: I really would go there and...

how on earth did you get that much into the PCSB? I am small made---but never manage to get that much into the PCSB and still make it look under packed. And I mostly wear merino and...
HI Maverick
I have had mixed feelings about the A30. It is perfect in some ways--I just can't handle the A45 at all; but it is a challenge for me.There was an extensive and very helpful thread on...
Thanks for this thread. It has always puzzled me why Tom Bihn bags--especially the larger ones--do not have a better weight-bearing hip belt. While I do understand they are not meant to be...
So nice to see you all back again here. and your son has really grown tall! I miss your off beat videos still...:) and the best explanations ever on how to do things...

great pictures. I was in the Mission district recently: it has changed beyond recognition. Twitter dominates a whole block, and the huge Market store made me do a triple take. It was three times the...
Great post and pictures: thank you.
that is a lot of weight, it feels like to me--especially with the Tolkien tome in it. Is the shoulder strap comfortable?
Is it possible to switch it out with the...
HI Amy
The Macbook Air 11 inch fits fine in the Co-Pilot; and will in addition hold a Kindle; or iPad Mini; various chargers and cables; a water bottle etc. It will not hold a Macbook 13, I am...
I have been to Scotland in July/August and it can be quite warm. I am not sure you will need the boots at all. If you are planning on hiking around there, you will need a hiking shoe. I would say the...
Can you tell me how you did phone hack? It would be a great way to do this! thanks
I know how you feel; I got the A30 and am having a hard time packing it in ways that work for me. I am going to work with it this weekend, and if not, return it. It seems more than packing cubes, it...
bchaplin: hoping you are reading this--since you are just a bit taller than I am--:) I am wondering if you can post a detailed list of the clothes you took? and other stuff in your A30? or message...
