A little background:
I have to be cautious, because I have convinced my 70+ and 90+ year-old parents (who live in a separate unit) to remain in the building unless there is an urgent medical/dental...
Two questions.
Ordered and received the V3 mask (3 layers) recently. Had some concerns:
- Could definitely feel and hear my breath coming out the sides of the mask and past my ears. This wasn't a...
Bring back the Stuffed Bat, please! Would have ordered in bulk way back when if I had known it was being retired!
Doggo loved it for many years and now we need a replacement *sweatdrop*
I read this, and was wondering why you couldn't just put a COW (or COP) on a lanyard. I use the system described for my laundry cards - not necessarily needs to be clear to show anyone, but clear so...
Not so sure about apps or whatnot but I can definitely recommend the Apple Wireless Keyboard! Good travels to your friend!
Darcy's post in a different thread should help resolve matters:
:)
Even though the FAQ says waterproof, make sure you buy and use that Nikwax! Nothing is forever... The treatments and coatings can wear off, especially in the conditions you described.
Hi earth5, did you ever follow up your forum post above with a private message? Possible darbs didn't check back on the thread and never knew you were interested...

Thanks, Walker, for that excellently detailed review of the Hydro Flask... I'm checking it out now!

It sounds like the Synapse or Co-Pilot, both in their Dyneema versions, are the bags for you.
:p
Yeah, that's the only part that I was slightly concerned about since the OP is going in December. But really, one can just wear the same outerwear the whole time including on the plane... And...
Actually dorayme, you've already seen my packing list, quoted below:
As far as laundering went, I found a self-service laundromat near where we were staying in NYC and laundered my clothes...
I did 7 days in NYC + 4 days in Montreal with just a WF, so I think you'll be fine :) Just wear your winter stuff on the plane :)
I could have sworn I posted this exact same post elsewhere but I can't find it now. Thanks from me as well, Frank! I now own a PPU clip which will serve me well on further adventures!
Oh my gosh, that is so true but I never thought about it before now! The water bottle pocket on the Synapse is the water bottle pocket on the Co-Pilot, the two side pockets are the same as well......
I also use my FOT pouch as a first-aid kit... Fits a couple of bandages, nail clippers/nail file, and several doses of allergy meds and cold medicine in blister packaging just fine.
I actually have the same spork in the same color! :D
While it'd match, I'm afraid she'd have a tough time finding it against the Iberian lining! :D
Yikes! I'm glad you're okay! Are you in America? You can sue, you know! :P
